Starting December 1, you can move the blocks around each day to count down to Christmas. I anticipate that my kids will love doing this (and will probably fight over who gets to do it each day!). These are easy to make: just paint your blocks, adhere scrapbooking paper (I've been using Spray Adhesive and I find it goes on smoother than Mod Podge, although you could use that too) and then add your vinyl. They vinyl for these blocks is $4/set.

Christmas countdown blocks
My summer and fall have been very busy with moving and settling into our new house and all the kids' activities, and I'm also pregnant, so I haven't had much time or energy to create any new vinyl projects. But I'm trying to keep up with my orders and I'm doing a few church craft days. One of the projects we've done recently for a church group was these Christmas countdown blocks:

New for Christmas
Here are a few new Christmas items that I made for my craft show this year. First a few simple blocks.
Then I made up sets of 3 Christmas trees. I like these first ones the best...they have silver glitter painted on and little red jewels.
These other two sets I still need to add the little jewels (oops, I forgot). I tried this one with red glitter. And these green trees have the silver glitter. Fun for a shelf or mantle somewhere.

More Christmas blocks
Ho Ho Ho blocks...the blocks are 3.5 x 3.5 inches. The vinyl is $2.00.
Here's a slightly different version of the Christmas blocks...the difference is that these ones are not stained and I painted the entire block.
This block is made from 2x4 wood...it is 9 inches long. Gold "JOY" and burgundy "to the world." The vinyl for this size block is $2.00.

Christmas is Coming!
Here are a few ideas for Christmas, and I hope to have some more soon. If you have an idea or want anything for Christmas, please let me know soon. Dec. 6 is the latest I will take any Christmas orders.
"Christmas" blocks. $5 vinyl; $3 wood (2x3 wood). $18 finished.
"Joy" blocks- $2.00 vinyl; $1.00 wood (2x4 wood); $6 finished. I've also made a photo block here. It would be $1 for the wood for it; $5 finished. You can make this by staining your block, adding patterned paper with mod podge, then use clear photo corners so that pictures can be easily taken on and off, and add ribbon. What a cute (and inexpensive) gift!
